Is there really no contract?

Correct. Monthly billing with 30 days' notice to cancel. We earn your renewal every month. If eType isn't working for you, you can leave — and we'll hand back your content.

What does subscriber count include?

All active paid subscribers across print, digital-only, and combo. Lapsed subscribers, trial signups, and newsletter-only emails don't count against your tier.

Can I upgrade or downgrade between plans?

Yes, anytime. Upgrades prorate immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. No penalties either direction.

Do you take a cut of my advertising or subscription revenue?

No. You keep 100% of your ad and subscription revenue. We charge a flat monthly platform fee and nothing more. Payment processor fees (Stripe, PayPal) go straight from them to you.

What about setup fees?

There are none. Onboarding, migration from your current platform, training, and DNS setup are all included in your monthly fee.

How long does implementation take?

Typically 4–6 weeks for a Weekly plan, 6–10 weeks for Daily, and 10–16 weeks for Group depending on the number of titles and complexity of your migration. We'll give you a realistic timeline during your demo.

Can I bring my own developers?

The platform is hosted and managed, but we expose a full API and webhooks for custom integrations. Enterprise plans include sandbox environments and developer support.
